Radian Support, part of the Radian Group, had been struggling to recruit Care Workers in the Slough area. Having tried web and press advertising, they still had positions to fill.
Mark Wilkin met with Lynn Plant, Client Services Director from Mobex at a Housing Conference about engagement events, and saw on opportunity to use an engagement roadshow to help with recruitment.
Mobex arranged for staffing of the roadshow, found the best location in the area to attract the target market, and delivered a trailer with full graphics ready for the 3 day event in Slough town centre. All this was organised within a matter of days.
But did the recruitment roadshow work? Well over the 3 days the roadshow was seen by almost 7,000 people, or which nearly 800 people stopped and enquired, and 20% of these people completed the recruitment form. Interviews are now underway.
