“For us Mobex was the fifth emergency service. We needed a way of getting to the heart of 8 neighbourhoods to carry out community consultation in a real and meaningful way. Our plan to use a converted single-decker bus fell through at the last minute when the vehicle was suddenly and permanently taken off the road. Mobex not only provided a rapid response but one which economically was very attractive. We used the 5 metre trailer for one week on a self –tow hire. This was a new experience for our staff team who received a full demonstration and instruction from Mobex very helpful staff.
The unit was very robust, of solid construction and cleverly designed for ease of use. A generator, flat screen TV, heating, lighting, display holders and kitchen area were all incorporated and the interior was clad with quality material which allowed the fixture of display materials with the aid of Velcro hooks.
Given that our consultation was taking part in December the unit was perfect with sliding patio style doors which allowed protection from the weather. We had some great conversations with local residents about a new community campus which is being developed and all of their views and comments will help shape the future delivery of services and help local politicians settle on a name for the new facility.”
